•The Ocean Course at Cabo del Sol – This is a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course. Mr. Nicklaus, according to Cabo del Sol, called it “the best piece of golf property I’ve ever seen.” The back nine winds its way to the sea, with the 16th green and the 17th and 18th holes on the waterfront in a spectacular finish. •Palmilla Golf Club – Palmilla now features 27 holes, with the Ocean nine joining the original Arroyo and Mountain nines. Palmilla has a reputation for being more user-friendly than the Ocean Course at Cabo del Sol. The layout features dramatic elevation changes and a routing that gives golfers a taste of mountain, desert and coastal golf at the same time. At least two holes are adjacent to the ocean. •El Dorado, San Jose del Cabo – This is another Nicklaus-designed course similar to Cabo del Sol. It ends with a memorable par-4 at the seaside. Five of its holes, including the ninth, are adjacent to the ocean. The course is on both sides of Mexican Highway 1 and includes a desert landscape of colorful canyons and panoramic arroyos. •Campo de Golf, San Jose del Cabo – If you don’t have deep pockets and are looking for an inexpensive, quick course, you found your soul mate in Campo de Golf.
